The real happy endings come after a story with a lot of ups and downs

She knows strength because you've made her weak. She wants so much more and she's willing to do anything to get it. But she also knows so much pain. And she can't move on. Every move, every moment, every day, every interaction. It's staring her in the face and the pain is lingering in her heart. She tries to fix it any and every way she can. And she can forgive all she wants to but more than anything she wants to forget. But how. She tries so hard everyday to make it better. She knows her many faults and she admits them and she understands. Moving on isn't easy. Forgetting is impossible. It's time to reset. We deserve so much more. For ourselves and for each other. We need to remember that it's not impossible to lose each other. To truly care and fight for each other. Not with each other. We're carrying such a dark feeling around everyday because we thought we were untouchable. We don't love each other anymore. We just stay because we don't know what else to do. Because it's a habit. An everyday routine. But something has to change. She wants the love back. To remember to forget the pain and to cherish the beautiful gift that God has given. To be reminded why after 14 years she just couldn't let go of this love. She needs time to find herself. She needs to forgive herself for the pain that she has caused so she can truly forgive others and finally let go of the grudge. So she can ask you and actually believe in her heart that your response is the truth. She doesn't know what else to do. A day without you is torture. But a lifetime without you is hell. But something has to happen. She knew you wouldn't understand what she needs. She said it was so she wouldn't lose you. But all you heard was "apart". When that's the last thing she wanted. When you left it hurt. But she was so optimistic that this was going to work. It's the only thing she hasn't done to fix this. She stared at the empty space in the closet for days. It broke her heart every time all over again. So she closed the doors. She wanted so badly to talk to you. But all the words to fix it had already been said and it just wasn't that easy. Your pictures stared her in the face everywhere she went. She broke down and died a little inside every time she looked at her wedding photos. So she turned the page and covered them up. She wanted everyday to give up. To stop trying and just deal with not fixing it just so she would have you in her arms at night. To not have to live another moment without you. But she knew that hurting as bad as she did right now would be worth it because it would mean she would never have to hurt again in the future because this time apart would fix it and she would never worry about living another moment without you. All the memories. All the years. It wasn't the same. Everything was tarnished by the pain She caused. By the pain you'd caused. This isn't a marriage. This is vengeance. Everyday battling to make the other regret even more than they already had. She had finally gotten to a point where she was ok. Where she thought that this is all going to work out. She had finally came to a point with herself where she decided she could do this. She could be alone and rebuild herself so she could be better for you. Be a better wife. Be trustworthy. Be a partner and not an enemy. And then it happened. She caught a glimpse of the family pictures. The happy family. The one that wasn't covered up. And she remembered why she did this. She remembered that when you love someone this much that it's not worth letting go of. She had finally gotten to where she wanted to be. She knew she could let go of the pain in the past. She knew she could trust you and that you could be a team again. She knew that they wouldn't be where they were if it weren't for what they did to each other. But she also knew that there wouldn't be a future if they weren't together. But it was too late. He said he misses his family but he doesn't want it back. Because being alone is better than the heartbreak. He stopped answering the calls. He stopped answering the texts. She lost contact. All she wanted to do was show that everything she told him she finally meant with all her heart and she could be the wife he deserves. There was so much work left to do but if given the opportunity she was willing to do it all. And the chance was taken away. And she took it from herself because she took too long. She tried to find help in her friends. In her family. In her life. But there's only one person that can help her. And she was reminded that they weren't untouchable. She doesn't see a day without tear filled eyes. Everyone asks if she's ok and she uses all the strength she knows to lie and say she's fine. She's running out of strength and is falling apart. She doesn't want the past back. She wants a better future. But without you all of what she has worked for is lost. The true love she knew is gone.
She knows sadness because you shown her happiness.
She knows heartbreak because you've shown her love.
